Jachai is a Grand Rapids–based conscious and vibe-driven hip-hop artist known for blending complex lyricism with vulnerability and confidence. Starting his musical journey at a young age, he has developed a style built around intentional writing, layered concepts, and authentic expression. He moved to Texas to grow musically, gaining new experiences and perspective before returning to Grand Rapids, Michigan, with fresh insight that continues to shape his artistry. His notable records include “Heavy Are the Eyes,” “Alfie’s Song,” and “Money Sound,” showcasing his versatility as both a lyricist and songwriter.

Since joining 616 Records in 2025, Jachai has continued building his presence in the Grand Rapids music scene, performing at Wealthy Theatre and contributing to an ArtPrize-winning project. What sets him apart is his ability to be vulnerable while remaining a confident architect of his music, carefully constructing every verse with purpose.
